The Pickleball Investment Fund is a $10M investment fund for the sole purpose of investing in the growing pickleball industry.

The Fund is available to accredited investors with a minimum investment of $50,000.

The Fund is structured to offer investors an annual return of 8% simple interest as a preferred unit (paid out prior to profits are distributed) PLUS an 80% split of profits of the Fund.

The Fund must invest, grow, and exit within 8 years. PDI Capital will always be looking at where they can make the most significant returns in the shortest time. If an opportunity presents itself to exit favorably in 4 years, we will likely consider the option to exit and provide an option to reinvest in another Fund.

Every investment the Fund makes is in a company, brand, manufacturer, or related business in the pickleball industry.
Approximately 70% of proceeds will go to equity investments including private equity and venture capital strategies.
20% of the proceeds to be leveraged and other buyouts.
10% to be allocated to short-term or mezzanine financing.

The Fund is tasked with identifying high-value opportunities in the pickleball industry. There are three primary areas of focus:
INNOVATION: Companies who create something new or unique that can disrupt or create larger-scale demand in the industry.
SCALE: Companies or products with potential to scale and require capital and a strategic partner to do so.
CASH-FLOW: Businesses that already generate steady cash-flow with automation or businesses we can develop to create a stable and profitable income.

PDI Capital manages the Investment Fund, pooling investor capital and investing in various aspects of the pickleball industry. Rather than promising unrealistic returns, we focus on investing the Fund’s capital into high-growth opportunities and managing those investments with our consulting expertise.
Investors receive preferred “Class A” shares in the investment fund which have an 8% return rate as a priority upon the windup of the Fund. Additional profits of the Fund are then split 80/20 with 80% of the additional returns going to investors and 20% to PDI Capital.

Yes, use of Individual Retirement Account (IRA) or 401(k) / 403(b) funds are eligible for investment in the Fund.

The pickleball industry is moving fast with changes happening every year. PDI Capital believes in a long-term approach to investing, therefor we anticipate investments to benefit greatly over a 5-10 year horizon in the sport. There are, however, Liquidity Events along the way that may begin to return capital earlier. We reserve the right to exit the fund at our discretion.

There is no guarantee of a resale market for your securities should you wish to exit the investment early for any reason. PDI Capital may be able to accommodate a change in the security holder in some situations provided that the new investor also meets the qualifications set forth in the PPM.

The Fund is managed by PDI Capital - a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pickleball Development & Investments LLC (PDI). PDI Capital is comprised of industry experts, seasoned business professionals and experienced investors.

Investors purchase Class A Units in the investment company with a standard pricing of $25k per Unit and a total of 400 total Units being offered.
Class A Units entitle investors to an 8% preferred return (simple interest calculation) plus an 80% interest in the ownership of the company (meaning an 80% split of the company profits at the windup of the fund).

The investment offering is regulated by the SEC and offered under an exemption in Regulation D, Rule 506(c) that allows investment companies to raise capital from accredited investors. Full information about this exemption can be found here.

The Pickleball Investment Fund has limited availability and in order to reach our capital targets, the minimum investment has been set to $50k with a maximum offering of $10 Million in this Fund.
Since the investment is in Units in the LLC and each unit is $25k, you can invest in increments of $25k after the minimum is met. ie. $75k, $125k, 275k, etc.

Yes! PDI Capital has structured the Pickleball Investment Fund for Accredited Investors only. However; there is a another fund being worked on that will be a open for smaller amounts and a wider range of investors. By joining our email list, you will be informed about new opportunities to invest in pickleball as they become available.
